Product Dimensions and Descriptions Guide

Product Dimensions

Product dimensions are a key product attribute that help customers make purchasing decisions. Indigo’s dropship team also uses this information to determine which carrier is best suited to deliver your product.

To edit the dimensions of a single product: 

1. Log in to PIM and click on the article that you'd like to edit
2. Go to section 3A - Item Dimensions
3. Enter the numerical value of the item dimension with 2 decimal places

To edit the dimensions of multiple products: 

1. Log in to PIM and select "Filter">"Vendor Name" 
2. Search for your business by entering your Indigo Vendor Number or your legal business name 
3. Select the products that you want to edit by clicking on the boxes to the right of your screen 
4. Select the downwards facing arrow on the top right corner of your screen and select "Download in Excel" 
5. Select all the attributes that you want to edit in the left column, using the ">" to move the selected attributes to the "Selected" column on the right
6. Select the green "Download" box to download the excel file 
7. Open the excel file -- click Enable Editing and Enable Content and go to the Entities tab
8. Fill in the cells with your product information 
9. Save the excel file and reupload the file to PIM by selecting the upwards-facing arrow on the top right of your screen
10. Select the file to upload, or drag and drop the file from your computer
11. Click on "Show Task Details" 
12. Click Refresh if it is still Processing – you may need to refresh multiple times. Once the
    Upload is complete, the Processing Details should say Success and the Sub-details should
    say Create
