What is the Dropship Program?

In today's retail space, speed, convenience, innovation, and personalization have become cornerstones of the customer experience. Guided by these new standards, Indigo has introduced a Dropship Program to offer customers an expanded assortment of products beyond what is carried in our stores and our current online warehouse. This program allows vendors to fulfill orders from their inventory directly to Indigo's customers.

Vendor Eligibility for Dropship

The requirements for a vendor to participate in the Dropship Program are as follows.

For Vendors who are currently using EDI (electronic data interface) to communicate with retailers and other customers, they must:

  • get onboarded to EDI with Indigo (integrated or Web-EDI solution)
  • send an inventory feed at minimum once every seven calendar days (via EDI 846)
  • ship out orders within 2 business days of order receipt
  • include an Indigo branded packing slip with the shipment
  • successfully pass the pre-production test

As well as meeting the requirements based on the product type you sell; for example, if you are a Toy vendor participating in the Dropship Program, you must provide a valid Certificate of Insurance for your items.
